Donna Carter has a unique ability to synthesize life experience into digestible life lessons. She is sought after as a speaker in Canada and the United States because of her clarity, humor and the light-bulb moments she triggers for women seeking help on their spiritual journeys. Donna lives in Calgary, Canada, with her husband, Randy, who is a youth speaker, and her two daughters, Kendall and Kevann. Her first book 10 Smart Things Women Can Do to Build a Better Life was released in the fall of 2007 and is being distributed in five countries.

Connie Cavanaugh  Connie Cavanaugh

 

Connie Cavanaugh, hilarious and unforgettable, her real-life stories give the audience an easy memory tag for life-changing spiritual truth. At between 30 and 50 events per year, she communicates with energy, humor, warmth, and grace to audiences all over Canada, the US and beyond. Connie's first book, From Faking it to Finding Grace, (Harvest House publishers) offers hope and help for believers who struggle with spiritual dryness. Her second book, Following God One Yes at a Time, will be released January 2011. 

 

Connie lives in Cochrane, Alberta, with her husband Gerry Taillon, the National Ministry Leader of the Canadian National Baptist Convention. They have three children, two married, and three grandchildren.  Connie and Gerry enjoy travelling together, hiking, skiing, and spending time with their family.

Rosemary Flaaten - Bridging the Relational GapRosemary Flaaten 

Rosemary grew up on a farm in southern Saskatchewan, as the youngest of four children, into a family that had a rich spiritual heritage.  She married her high school sweetheart, Norlee, and they have three children.  As a family, they enjoy travelling, camping, family movie nights, biking, and card games.  Rosemary thrives on being with people and loves to use her gift of hospitality, but also enjoys the solitude of gardening and reading.

 

Rosemary is an inspirational speaker who encourages her listeners while motivating them to change and grow.  She combines biblical truth with authenticity from her own life and experiences.

Teresa RillingTeresa Rilling

Teresa survived trauma and speaks passionately and with humor to audiences across Canada. Her desire is to inspire and motivate people to become all God created them to be. She has been married to Jim for 30 plus years and turned 50 in fall of 2008. She feels like life has just begun. They have had the privilege of parenting 3 children one of whom chose them in her early teens. All 3 are married and have supplied 8 grandchildren to hug.

 

Teresa is a Pastor’s wife using her hospitality, counseling and musical gifts for the past 30 years. She has also worked in the public school system as a teacher assistant, music specialist, and speech & language liaison. Her leadership/training gifts have been seen in serving as Student Wives President (while Jim attended Seminary and she Bible College) and Director of Women's Ministry for Alberta and part of NWT. In fall of 2008 her travels took her to the Caribbean where was a presenter in training women in leadership.

Julia Ellergodt

Julia is passionate about equipping people to enable them to serve the Lord in effective ways. She has lived out her passion by being the coordinator of the women’s ministries at her church, facilitating a small group, and in being involved in mentoring relationships. She enjoys downhill skiing, scrapbooking, reading and the occasional soak at the Spa.  She and her husband Bruce reside in Moose Jaw, SK and they have three sons. Julia has been the speaker at several women’s retreats and outreach events. She is also trained by Sonlife in leading a one day workshop on Strategy in building an intentional, purpose driven ministry.

Monique Hodge

Monique found Jesus as a teen, after babysitting in the home of Dave and Brenda Petrescue in Unionville, ON.  She made her way to Bible College as she felt God's call on her for full time ministry.  She pastored in Moose Jaw, SK.  in the children's area.  She currently serves with her husband who pastors in Leader, SK. She now works as a learning assistant in a school and also serves as the District Children's Director of the Canadian Midwest District.  Monique shares her story with depth and passion as she speaks.

Glenda Lees

Glenda's speaking career started early when she would charge relatives 10 cents to watch her act out a play. Even in elementary school, every report card said she was a great student but did a little too much talking in class! Now Glenda enjoys combining writing and talking by speaking at camps throughout Saskatchewan and at various ladies' evenings and retreats. Glenda leads an exciting life as the wife of an Alliance pastor and a mother of 5 children. Glenda was a stay-at-home mom for many years and went back to school as her youngest child's kindergarten teacher. Glenda now teaches performing arts (music and drama) part-time at the local high school in which two of her children attend. She loves making Scripture come alive and sharing her faith in the God who cares for her.

Mary Thomas

Mary’s Passion:- "to reach out to women and strengthen them  in the Lord".       Mary Thomas

        Mary was born in Kerala, India.  After receiving two Masters degrees in Chemistry and Educational Administration respectively from Nagpur and Poona Universities, India, she taught junior college students for nine years. During the first two years of marriage, Mary earned a Masters degree in Christian Studies from Canadian Theological Seminary.  In her university career she was active in student evangelism and discipleship through the national Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. Today, Mary teaches part-time at Western Christian High School.

 

       Mary and her evangelist husband, Dr. T.V. Thomas have three young adult children (Victor, Molly, Melanie), and make their home in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  

 

        Mary's ministry involves counseling, reaching out to international students and South Asian families in the city.  She serves on the Board of Directors of Rainbow Centre and chairs the Board of Directors of Asian Sport Education and Cultural International.  Mary enjoys reading, gardening, and keeping up with national and international news.

Eileen Campbell

Eileen Campbell, director of Single Parent Family Resources in Canada, holds a Masters Degree in Christian Education. Eileen was minister of Christian Education at Bramalea Baptist Church for 24 years. During this time she was instrumental in the implementation and leadership of the Divorce Recovery and Just Me & The Kids programs. Eileen has worked with adults, children, youth, leadership teams, and hundreds of volunteers over the past 30 years.

 

It is her passion to bring God’s healing, wholeness and hope into the lives of single parents and their children. Reaching this hidden mission field is accomplished as Single Parent Family Resources partners with churches across Canada providing training and workshops for those God has burdened for this ministry.

Louella Gould, B.B.S.

 

Louella has served in various local church, district, and national leadership positions within the Alliance Women's Organization as well as working with other community associations. Her degree in Biblical Studies and her training in counseling through Psychiatric Nursing studies and associated courses have equipped her to teach, train and disciple women in biblical principles relating to practical issues of daily life. Her heart for people and her international ministries has given Louella an ability to minister to a broad range of people from diversified backgrounds and lifestyles. Widely traveled, she has also seen missions "on-site" in over fifty countries.

For the past 14 years she has served at Burlington Alliance Church with her husband, Brian Reynolds.  She credits her ministry experience with shaping her spiritually as well as developing her sense of humour. Kathy Slamp - Vessel MinistriesKathy Slamp
